a lawyer who has been certified as a specialist in an area of practice
by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization
may state such. Likewise, lawyers who are not certified in an area
of practice or whose area is not yet recognized for certification
by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization
must also state that they are not certified. The Tennessee Commission
on Continuing Legal Education currently offers certification in
the following areas: Accounting Malpractice, Business Bankruptcy,
Civil Trial Practice, Consumer Bankruptcy, Creditors Rights, Criminal
Trial, Elder Law, Estate Planning, Legal Malpractice, and Medical
Malpractice. Certification of our attorneys in approved specialties
is so stated in the lawyer's biographical information.
Otherwise our attorneys are not certified in any listed practice
areas and/or their areas of practice have not yet been recognized
for certification in Tennessee.
